We believe AI assistants should belong to the people using them — not to a handful of platforms. OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent that anyone can run on their own computer and connect to the apps they already use, like WhatsApp and Telegram.
Why we wrote the guide
Setting up a self-hosted AI assistant can feel intimidating if you're not a developer. We wrote The Beginner's Guide to OpenClaw so any motivated reader can have a working personal assistant in an afternoon — with copy-paste commands and friendly explanations the whole way through.
